I felt like now was a good time to put my fun new strings on Kytte.

1. The harp style tailpiece is very weird, I had to string the G up with So Much of the silk over the nut, I genuinely thought I’d have to buy a set of specialty strings, but bringing it up to tension juuust pulled it over the line. (This explains why that end of the winding is chewed up on the old Alphayues; typically doesn’t get a lot of wear there so I was baffled)

2. I know that it’s 90% new string effect but the G sounds good? I hope it stays like that, I might try these on my traditional violin

3. I know I am falling for marketing hype but I really like the winding color on these Auroras 💫
