I finished embroidery all the crosses on the back pieces of the new doublet, and I decided to do the couching before cutting out all the crosses to maybe hopefully not distort the linen as much.

Hey, for not attempting to match the embellishments at all, I did a pretty darn good on the back seam :V

I originally envisioned placing some kind of bow or ribbon embellishment down the back seam to avoid trying to match up the cross motifs across the seam… but now I’m rethinking that.
